SOURCE: winding noise or vaccum leak from front of motor.

A/C -Heater controls
Has you are aware the A/C Clutch compressor is engaged at all times when the defrost mode is turned on. Turn off all heater controls. If the noise is gone it will be either the Air conditioner compressor clutch bearing or possible the idler pulley bearing .

SOURCE: My DARDA upside down overpass track won't lie flat

I had the same problem with my sons track. An easy solution is to use a long thin piece of plywood and put adhesive velcro on the bottom of the track and the wood. This will keep it flat and can easaly be remove to put away.

I overwound my old travel alarm clock. Is there anyway to fix this on my own? I'm pretty handy with jewelers tools...

to unwind the clock, you need to open the winding spring.

Open the back, and there should be a part to move and unwind it.

Be careful to put the pieces in reverse order when you take it apart, so it will go together correctly I only say this because I've had to fix sewing machines that were not put together correctly..

Is it good to change watch movement to a battery ?Watch was overwound.

There is no such things as over winding a watch. If it is not an automatic watch then the watch will wind until it stops. If the watch does not run then something else is wrong.

If the watch is an automatic then about 30 winds will fully wind the watch. But, you can continue to wind the watch forever. It will never stop winding. Again, if it does not run after being wound there is something else wrong.

To fix your watch you need to have a qualified watchmaker repair it for you.

Hope this helps,

Not a problem but a question...might be a stupid one too. I just bought a new Bulova self winding BVA100 series watch. The instructions say to wind 6 times before using. I can understand why but the...

Your guess is right- watch is winding clockwise only. If you wind it anti-clockwise, the clutch weel gets disengaged and watch do not wind, so, you can do that as long as you like- nothing will happen and no harm to watch will be done.
6 times mean the movement of your thumb and forefinger with watch crown between them for 6 consecutive times. 2 times is as good as well.
And there will be no any clicks or sounds as the mainspring of watch is designed not to brake, but ease itself if overwound, so, no need for any alarming sounds.
