Yikes man. The Polycom phones are used in just about every hosted or sip based pbx. So hard to answer without more information. Do you have a message or voicemail button? Do you know anymore info about the system that your phone connects to? Company name etc?
The 225 is full Duplex and I can't see any reason why it should not work. I can only suggest menu, system settings. restore default, and see if that changes anything. What exactly is happening when you do a conference call? Procom have a support section manual here http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/cn/support/voice/soundpoint/soundpoint_pro_se225.html support here http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/us/support/Contact_Us.html worth sending them the question they can only refuse to answer or try to charge you!
I'm sorry for being long on my answer here... The bad thing here is that the CS60 is not a Mitel approved/supported
headset. The only headsets that are approved for Mitel Superset or
Mitel IP telephones are the Plantronics Polaris model.
BUT many other headsets do work with Mitel telephones. Since they are not "supported" by Mitel, you should contact the headset manufacturer for configuration guidance. Some have dip switches, or dials that need to be in certain positions to work with certain telephone models. This can be different from one phone to another.
Plantronics web site and their support people should be able to guide
you to configuring this headset properly for each model phone.
How is the headset and handset connected? It sounds like the CS60 is connected to the handset port of the phone and the handset is connected to the CS60. When you go off hook with the handset, it sends the signal to the CS60 and depending on the switch on the CS60, it will send the signal to either the handset or the headset.
The CS60 is connected to the handset port and the handset is connected to the headset port. To make the headset port work, you must have the CS60 connected to the headset port and the handset connected to the handset port. Set the phone to Headset mode.
Follow these steps : 1.1 Press the function (FCN) button on the handset while on a call and then press the number "2" button. This will place the call on hold and you will hear a dial tone. 2.2 Call the number or extension of which you want to transfer the call. 3.3 Push the FCN button on the keypad and then the number "2" button and immediately transfer the call. You do not need to wait for the other party to answer.
This is probably not related to the phone itself but more likely related to the telephone system it connects to. You can configure an IP phone to connect to a telephone system at a external service provider but I would be surprised if their time was out by seven minutes so I'm guessing that you have an IP PBX in your office somewhere. It would have the names of the people at the different extensions. You probably have a support person who looks after your computers and operating systesms it is fairly normal in smaller offices for that person to also look after the telephones. I do this for two small businesses which have about 40 employees all togeather. Have a chat to your boss, someone should be responsabile for your phone system too. As time goes by it will just get worse and if it has a failure someone should know how it all works. Hope this hepls
Dont plugged into the headset jack. Like Nortel, connect headset line with phone base unit in receiver jack and plugged your phone receiver wire into headset or plantronic base unit. This will work. I am sorry, my english is not too good but hope you understand it now. But the pully is not working properly with IP501..I mean it is not good to pickup IP501 receiver and put it back right place.
