Building the gearboxes is a pain using the instructions.
instead use the 2 strait plastic bit with 2 screw holes in each end.
put the nuts and screws rough the holes and use it to hold the nuts in place while closing up the gear box case.
No more will the moter magnet pull it out nor will they be the wrong way up or fall out.
Now to get my arduino and moter shield to control the arm....
Unfortunately, there is not much market thus motivation to industry for "replacement toy parts" :(
The trouble with a "dispossable society" is that for the benefit of cheap volume production, 99.9% of plastics are mold cast assembly line manufacturing, means "one time" production and for all intent and purpoase, not repairable nor part replaceable.
It may be possible to find the same toy with a different problem (broken in some way or other) that "has" it's battery cover, maybe at a yard sale or a flea market, even a second hand store and therefore locate one. Other than that, unless the manufacturers felt the longivity of their product worthy of replacement parts and provide an 800 number to contact them, chances are you won't find one.
Wish I had a better suggestion :) But, you can try locating another one through the mentioned places.
Press and hold the button with the clock symbol then the hour will start to blink. Use the big blue button (up and down) to change the hour, use the left and right to select the minutes and date then use the up and down to change the select (blinking) value. When done push the clock button to set it.
Hi Robert: I suggest check this link: OWI-535 Robotic Arm Edge Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate

It's a pretty simple game to play. Set up the pieces as shown on the problem cards. Jump your red robot to the hot spot.. All the robots can jump over other robots(blue, green and red). You can jump over one or two robots. You can't move from one space to the next without jumping. Blue and red robots cannot overlap their skirts (i.e they can't be next to each other). If you don't understand, just check out the solutions on the back of the problem cards. The number relates to the playing piece, L = jump left, U = jump up, D = jump down, R = jump right.
did you send to official wowwee company in canada? did you email wowwee support canada? its a shame nearly ALL robosapien v2 have problems:( mostly to do with bad quality materials i.e wiring & bad quality screws & bad quality design flaws in general- its strange wowwee robots have only 90 days warranty :O & some have 180 days max warranty. there is a robocommunity forum on net (search for it & ask your questions there)
