What can i do to wacht dvds?

you must have connected the safety feature to the hand brake.
this disconnects the dvd from working until the hand brake is applied. you will need to attatch this wire to a ground connection to enable it to be played while moving

My farenheight tv wont play while im driving

Hello mfmm18, This is actually a safety feature the green wire connects to the parking brake switch and when the break is engaged, the unit will work. Now if you really want to do this here we go, but do not try to sue me if you get into an accident while watching TV when you should be driving. 1) Locate the green (or whatever color wire the installation guide tells you is the parking brake inter-lock. 2) Attach a spst switch to ground and mount the switch in an accessible location. 3) Connect the other end o the switch to the interlock wire. That is it now when you start up your vehicle the switch should be in the off position, after the vehicle is started throw the switch to the on position and the unit should be able to be turned on. Now the reason I say use the switch is because some manufactures realize people are doing exactly what you are and are grounding out the wire some what they did was add initial ground sensing, which shuts the unit off if it senses a continuous ground without an open at some point. I hope this helps, Thank you, Shuttle83

Do you have the manual, on a kenwood i think the brake wire is green, this wire is usually quite long, long enuff to go from head unit to your handbrake. You need to connect this wire to the vehicle chassis( ground). This may sort you out. You would normally have a message saying parking brake not applied. Do you get a display when listening to radio or cd????

I cant getta dvd picture on my kenwood kvt 719dvd...brake wire???

Did you install it, they generally sense whether youre moving by having a connection to your handbrake, if this is not connected the unit thinks youre moving but usually gives an on screen message.
To disable this you usually have to ground the brake sensor wire( connect it to the body of the vehicle)
YOU TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant get a picture with my UV7i with or without the brake on

Its very simple splice the power wire "constant power" Red wire.

Next attatch the yellow parking switch wire to the constant power.

wallah... You can now watch movies on your in dash while driving! The deck thinks the brake is engaged

Alot easier then codes and pressing brake pedals and all that jive. They wont do it if your get it installed somewere so you have to do it yourself, its very easy

No picture

A blue screen suggests no input signal, or a signal that the electronics in the screen can't handle. I don't think you need the remote, but, it may help. I suggest you try the dvd on a working monitor and check that it's a compatible output. The LM-S6001 is a multi-system monitor both NTSC(US) and PAL(Europe/Aisa). The monitor has a composite video (usually yellow) and RCA(phono) input and DIN, the manufacturer is unclear if both plugs are present. You can assume it's auto-switching, but that may not be the case. More information is needed to fully understand your problem. 1. make/model of DVD. 2. description of external plugs on monitor.
