Question about Cameras
Ive had my camera for less than a year and when the background is lit such as outside or if there are lamps or whatever in the background my photos have lines going through them, just through the background not the people, when the background is pitch dark such as in a club or at night time, my photos turn out fine. what the hell is going on with my camera? how do i fix this?
This is a hardware based problem. You cannot fix the problem through menu choices. Best option is to contact the manufacturer and get an RMA. If you are out of warranty you may choose to keep the camera and use software like photoshop to clean up your pix. Otherwise replace your camera.
My experience with cameras selling for under $500 is that they have a failure rate above what most of us consider satisfactory. Depending on the cost of the unit, this is one of the few products where an extended warranty will at least get you your initial investment back. (I have no vested interest in extended warranties. I traditionally recommend their rejection as a poor return on investment.)
