It has integrated graphics so there will not be a graphics chip. Your graphics will be part of the north bridge chip that is directly between the cpu and memory on that particular board.

On that one, itis the big chip beside the CPU socket. It is basically most of the chips a motherboard has, in one chip. If it goes, the whole motherboard is considered gone. If the graphics portion is gone, then a PCI card might help. It could be bad RAM also.

Quite frankly, the whole system is considered obsolete. The least you can do is see if you can get a motherboard which fits in your case, and can accept the existing CPU and RAM.

Hooking power supply back to desktop gateway computer 310 series after changing motherboard need diagram where can i get one

Let me look around for you.

The plastic front of the computer is the Front Panel. The area of pins on the motherboard that the wires from the Front Panel attach to, is the Front Panel header.
Sometimes there are two Front Panel headers.

This information may be tough to find.
What is needed is the manufacturer name and model number, off of the motherboard.

There were several different motherboard manufacturers used, and several different variations.

I'm going to post two links that may help you with identifying the motherboard manufacturer, and model number.

Look in the middle of the motherboard, around the edges, and in-between any expansion slots on the motherboard, for identifying nomenclature.

http://www.ascendtech.us/itemdesc.asp?ic=MB4GWTHRASHER&eq=&Tp=

http://www.pcpartsohio.com/gateway.aspx?c=2&s=91

Going further, there is a motherboard chipset on the motherboard.
The motherboard chipset consists of the Northbridge chip, and the Southbridge chip.

The Northbridge chip will be covered with an aluminum finned Heatsink. It's identifying model number/letters will be covered.

The Southbridge chip usually does not have a Heatsink. It's model number/letters will be easily identifiable.

The Northbridge chip and Southbridge chip are installed in a mated pair.
A specific Southbridge chip will be used with a specific Northbridge chip.

This means that identifying what Southbridge chip is used will lead us to what Northbridge chip is used, without removing the Heatsink off of the Northbridge chip.

This shows you a motherboard diagram, detailing how the motherboard chipset is connected to the rest of the motherboard,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

This general example of an average motherboard shows you the Northbridge chip, and Southbridge chip,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MicroATX_Motherboard_with_AMD_Athlon_Processor_2_Digon3.jpg

Looking in the middle of the motherboard you will note a bl;ack square Heatsink that looks like a meat tenderizer.
This is the Heatsink over the Northbridge chip.

To the left of the Northbridge chip, and to the left of the ram memory slots, is the Southbridge chip.
It has VIA on it in white letters.

State any identifying letter/numbers that you see on the motherboard.
Please state in a Comment.

Regards,
joecoolvette

Driver audio for iwill vx133l

you certainly do have rotton luck with this Mobo as the company no longer exists however most onboard components such as audio, vga etc are supplied by the famous IC vendors

when I have come across motherboards in the same category as the iwill, I use a nifty little tool called UDI (unknown device identifier) this has the ability to probe the ics for thier manufacturers details...... i use it to find the chip vendor then I can download and test various generic drivers for that vendor until I hit gold...so far I have had great success using this method......if you keen to try it out go ahead

you can get UDI here

happy hunting......

Chances are your using realtek IC, check on *********** board for a computer chip that has a crab like logo on it, if you find one go to www.realtek.com and download everything that's there you should find a driver if that's the case. Now, I say download everything because there are both device drivers and audio codecs for the devices. If you do not have a realtek device you can try and look over your motherboard and identify what audio IC is on your motherboard and download the drivers for that model IC

No signal from the motherboard to the LCD

First of all check whether u fixed the connections properly like RAM , Processor and Motherboard to the Cabinet. If u can hear any Beep Sounds at the start up it is easy to identify the problematic part. If u cant hear any of the beeps the problem may be with the display capacitor, change the display capacitor and the diode with a good chip level technician. The problem will be resolved.
