Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
Its a mitsubishi HD 1080 and this morning the colors out of nowhere went whack. it looks like a 3D movie now. the picture is off with red and blue people. here is a link to a picture of what it looks like. its not very good, because i just took it with my phone, but you can at least see the problem. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b355/b... How can I fix this?
You have bad convergence ICs. They are located on large aluminum heat sinks usually near the rear of the chassis. The number generally looks like STK###-###. If you have no experience soldering or in electronic repair I cannot walk you through it on this web site. The repair cost should not exceed $150.00 at a reputable repair site. I would suggest getting someone to take care of this. Good luck.
