Try replacing the batteries in the mouse. Sometimes the light will still come out of the bottom of the mouse - but the wireless signal is no good.

Also - after you replace the batteries in the mouse, click the sync button on the USB part that plugs into your computer, and then immediatly click the sync button on the bottom of the mouse.

That should do it!

I have just purchased a UNIDEN GPS iGO500. I've registered the device and tried to download Naviextras Toolbox but when trying to extract my laptop is saying that there is a virus in the program. I...

I got mine connected finally, the problem is you have to put the GPS in USB device mode not just charge mode, however the screen with this option on it fails to appear when you turn it on. I got a breif flash of it as I was turning it on and off and the USB mode button is to the right of center. Have to device plugged into the computer and turn it on when the loading screen appears keep pressing your finger to the right hand side and you will trigger the USB mode.

My garmin was automaticly flashing differnt modes continously. Now it won,t turn on at all.

whoa, mine just starting doing that too. Today on a run it just started flashing through the 3 screens and I couldn't turn it off. It kept logging the run so I kept going. Then it would stop flashing sometimes during the run and I'd press the up or down arrow and it'd start flashing again. Now it's in the cradle and I can't sync it up but the battery is charging. Any ideas how to fix this?

If the GPS's internal battery is allowed to discharge too far, it will not be possible to recharge with the card charger, until it is brought up to a certain level. Connect the nuvi to a computer with USB cable overnight. This will trickle charge the internal battery to a level that will allow the car charger / cradle to keep the GPS charged from that point on. Anytime the car charger fails to recharge the internal battery, the USB charge method will have to be performed first.

No, it may take a little longer if you are charging through the USB port. I normally have mine plugged in while driving, it charges and is in use too. To use GPS with USB. First turn the GPS on (without USB plugged in). Press Battery symbol on screen for about 10 seconds, a test screen will come on. Plug in the USB (bottom of screen shows USB connected). Tap EXIT to return to maps. You can now use it while USB is charging Make sure you turn GPS off before removing the USB cable

Garmin nuvi won't turn on

folks, the garmins have an on-board battery that needs to be powered up (at least occasionally) via the usb port - like from your computer. just using the dc car power cord does nothing for this battery. i've had this exact same problem on both my 760 and 780 nuvi units. fixed it using the usb charge. seems to run down differently for all the various nuvi models. my regular charge will hold for 7 hours on my old 660, my 760 and 780 work about 5 hours. my 'power up' failed on the 660 after 10 months with no internal battery charge, but the 7xx models only took about 5-6 months to 'fail.' hope this helps. jack b :-) in midland, tx usa
