It sounds like a water hose is leaking or has a split in it. Check the water in-take hoses on the back of the washing macine, to see if its leaking or split. If they are leaking, unscrew the hose and check or replace the rubber washer, thats in the brass screw-in part. Next, unplug the washer power cord, unscrew the intake water hoses that are in the back and turn the washer on it's side and check the water hoses underneath the washer. They may be loose or split. Any hardware store should have these hoses in stock, like Lowes or Home Dept, or your local "Do it center".

Water is leaking onto floor during filling and also during the rinse cycle.

you will have to check the hoses coming from the water inlet solinoids as it sounds as if there is a leak in one of them.

Washing Machine Emptying

Sure sounds like a hole or crack in the tub.  Unplug power, shut off water, and disconnect the hoses.  Tilt the washer onto its front and look underneath.  Use a light to inspect the tub bottom and sides for a hole or crack. If it is small enough you might be able to plug it with silicone sealant.

Washer Empties Immediately

sounds like you may have a hole inside the inner tub, depending on the model an the labor might be cheaper to buy a new one, i priced one for my old kenmore an was told 150 DLS. AM IN chicago, but i took it apart found the hole an sanded the hole with some sand paper, used a little piece of plastic patch looks more like a window screen an then used about 3 layers of JB weld an it fixed so far, is been working for over 6 months, knock on wood........lol.............good luck..........

Water leaking out of the bottom

Sounds like the main bearing has gone bad and that is causing you to loose water on the floor. There is also a rear seal back there that will need to be replaced

Strange growling sounds on rinse and spin cycle

I would check the motor control board located near the floor on the right side for burnt components. The motor is a 3 phase unit and if one of the phases are working the motor will growl and won't be able to supply the proper torque.

See www.neptunehelp.com for disassembly photos and for more info on the faulty door latch wax motor.
