SOURCE: My Wolf electric lawn mower will start but cuts

There may be a fault contact due to vibration check all the electrical wires and contacts if they are very well connected check corrosion point at contacts, use wd40 spray oil in the motor and contacts, there may be a fault in the carbon contacts to the rotor.

SOURCE: BLack and decker electric lawn mower blaDE IS loose and not turn

If it's like mine (MM 875), it has a plastic "clutch" that has little edges on it that broke off when I was chopping sticks with the mower ;-) Went to the local B&D place and got a new one for less than $3.

But now I'm worrying about the nut holding the blade on -- if I try to get it good and tight, the plastic "clutch" spins around off-kilter... Funny how I never even looked at the blade after I bought the mower used, but never worried about the blade being loose and flying off.

SOURCE: how do you change a blade on a qualcast lawn mower

Block the blade with a piece of wood so it stops the motor and blade from turning while your loosening the nut.

What is lawn mowers?

A lawn mower (mower) is a machine utilizing one or more revolving blades to cut a grass surface to an even height. The height of the cut grass may be fixed by the design of the mower, but generally is adjustable by the operator, typically by a single master lever, or by a lever or nut and bolt on each of the machine's wheels.
If you already have a lawn mower machine but blades are not sharp. So you can buy a new one. For Best Lawn Mower Blades where you will get. I know one site. Lawnwheel is a very good online site where you can get sharp, blunt and good quality blades. For getting more information click on the link.

My problem is with a Webb H12R-A manual lawn mower which has the blade set on the lowest setting possible but doesnt cut the grass

Are the blades turning when you lower the deck? If not, your belt may be slipping or it's off the pulley. Once you lower the deck and lift your foot off the the brake / clutch it should engage because the slack is now taken up on the belt, so slipping, belt jumped off or belt stretched out.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE BLADES

The blades are typically a 'right hand' thread and tighten against the normal blade rotation for safety reasons. This means they have a tendency to work themselves tighter during use. Try using a good pair of LEATHER gloves and hold the blade with one hand while loosening the bolt (or nut) with the other. To loosen, turn the bolt (nut) COUNTERclockwise.

If this is a push mower... REMOVE THE WIRE FROM THE SPARKPLUG FIRST !!!!!! Push mowers can start when rotating the blade by hand because it turns the engine over just as a crank or pullrope would.

Make sure to take note of the positioning of the cutting surfaces of the blade and re-install them correctly...many mowers have had their blades installed backwards by mistake.

Take extra care when re installing them as they will now be SHARP !!!!!

Where is the safety switch to engage the blade

Your lawn tractor will have a lever that raises and lowers the mower deck which houses the two cutting blades. By lowering your mower deck to the desired cutting height, the blades should automatically engage. By raising the deck back to it's highest position, the blades will automatically disengage. Should be simple enough. You can consult your mower manual. If you don't have one, you can easily find it online using the make, model and year of the lawn tractor.

try pushing the blade up into the deck,,,if there is any lift in it there is the fault,,the top nut has come off the blabe drive pully and let the drive shaft drop a little this will lower the cutting blade,,,fix it before the blade falls right out
