Any body out there? Is my question to tough for you. There is no battery in a 1275 Kidde smoke sensorIt started beeoping, still does. What is the answer please?

Download manual

If the unit is chirping once per minute it is probably indicatiing low battery, although other malfunctions can sometimes cause the same thing. According to the manual (see the link), the 1275 DOES have a 9V backup battery, but be advised that if the unit is more than 10 years old the entire smoke alarm must be replace per the national fire code (NFPA72). Many of today's smokes come with a ten year non-replaceable battery for that reason. Hope this answer helps.

How to stop chriping problems

Usually it's just a matter of replacing the battery. Replace the unit if it's more than 10 years old (mandatory per NFPA 72) or if replacing the battery does not work.

Kidde Smoke detector 1275 continues to chirp. I located the detector and opened it but I can't get to the battery. Please help

When you say you opened it, what do you mean? The unit should come off the trim ring and expose the bottom which I believe is where the battery is located. Just so you know, if the unit is more than 10 years old the entire unit must be replaced per NFPA 72.

How do I stop the three pulse alarm pattern, I have checked my house and their is no danger.

You should check all the units when this occurs (this is an actual alarm sound) to see if one of them is different than the rest, either by flashing an led, turning on a red led, etc. The one that is different is the one with the problem; replace it. If your units are more than 10 years old you need to replace all of them by code (NFPA 72), just so you know. Good luck!

Kidde smoke alarm won't stop chirping . I have replaced the batteries and nothing seems to fix the problem

Most smoke detecotrs have a limited lifespan of 5-10 years. On the underside of the detectors should be a sticker with installed dated or replace by date. If changing the batteries doesn't stop the chirping it is most like time to replace the detector. If you check the manufacturer website they will give you a life expectancy for your detector.

Hello I have a KIDDE FYRNETICE smoke alarm.

According to the Kidde website, this unit was discontinued in 2010. If the unit is more than 10 years old it must be replaced per NFPA 72 (assuming you live in the US)
