Question about Dell XPS M1330 Notebook
Hey i have a dell xps m1330 and when i look at the battery sign when i turn it on, it says 75% available(plugged in but not charging?) what do u think is the problem here so i can have it replaced?
I would guess the battery is done. How old is it? How many charge/ discharge cycles? Do you leave it in when using on AC at home?

As he said it could be the battery so do test that but if it isnt its most likely a problem with the power socket itself as he said, and i do know that some computer repair companies can fix this sort of thing if you want to go to them for help

Testimonial: "Thanks for the input..."
When you alter the Date and Time and next time you boot up again the date and time has reverted back to some other time, this indicated the BIOS battery is flat and it needs to be replaced.
To fix this problem, replace the BIOS battery and change the date and Time setting.

what you are experiencing is a problem from your motherboard.. try opening it up and check for burnt smell. get someone with a bit of experience to open it up for you and you will have to get it changed
