Question about Goodman GMS80453ANA Open Flame Mid-Size Heater
The furnace come on burner lites and goes off when blower comes on. The led light flash 3 times. And we just put a new flame sensor on. Can anyone help..
Since the burners light this eliminates the pressure switch as the problem. Typically when the burners come on and shut off quickly a flame sensor, ground problem or the limit switch tripping are the main reasons. Since the flame sensor has been replaced, check the limit switch

I Also have the same and other problems with my furnace model # GDS80703AXBB. First the LED kept blinking 4 times and I too jumped the primary limit, that didn't kelp. After several attemps I moved the wires going to the circut board and everything starting working again. After a week It stopped working again, so I pulled the plug out of the circut board checked all wires for for a bad connection plugged it back in. Now the LED blinks 6 times again I move the wires. Then the LED blinks 3 times. Then the transformer burns out. I have burned out 2 transformers and I have ordered a new circut board.

No, the board isnt out. The board has a code telling you that its out. Its your flame sensor. You wouldn't have gotten any heat if the gas valve was out. check if that flame sensor goes to another sensor on the same circuit , if it does check that. If it just a one wire sensor make sure its in the right position. If its a one rod flame senor with one wire I would sand it down with sandpaper. if its a two wire senor ohm it out to see if you ger current going through it.

The problem you have is water in the exhaust pipe.
Check to see if the pipe has sagged anywhere or if there is a trap in the line.
If you hear gurgling then it is definetly water....
Some times can be hard to find, even a pipe 1/4 full will cause problems. They are very sensitive to flue problems.
Make sure that the flue pipe either runs back to the furnace or out to the outside, a continuos slope either way witha high spot in the middle.
Also check the bottom drain of the blower if it has one, have had them plug and trap water also..
I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!
Thanks for using Fixya!!

Good one! Is the flame getting to the flame sensor within the few seconds? Maybe a good cleaning of the burners or flame tray would help. 1.3 ma is enough for the flame rod to tell the board to stay on. Re-do all the ground connections both at the board and furnace cabinet to be safe. Check the polarity of the power going to the furnace. What are the chances the second board is bad?
