Question about GPX BD707B Radio/DVD Player
I got this portable dvd player for christmas and noticed it had a usb port on the front so i wondered if i could plug a usb flashdrive into it and play movies. So instead of looking up if i could i looked in the manual. It said that i could and the compatible formats for it are mp4, mp3, and jpeg. So i went to my computer and downloaded 2 movies and converted them to mp4 format. I put the movies on the usb flashdrive and went back to the dvd player plugged it in and tried to play the movie. It said unsupported format and i dont know what to do. Please help.

I am having the same problem. I already formatted it and it wont transfer music from comp to mp3. it says that the device is disconnected, which it isnt, or that the device has stopped.

As a replacement for "Dolby Digital DT3 AV cable" can be used a " 3.5mm (mono) to RCA(or coaxal)" Cable.
Just make sure that DVD Player set for "SPDIF/RAW" or "SPDIF/PCM" output

SOURCE: cant get it to charge
I tried to reset and it didn't work, They way I figured out was to shut it off then plug the USB in. Then the screen shows up where it is sleeping, Then hit the power button one time and in the bottom left the USB light came on and in the top right you can see your battery taking charge. Hope this helps, It took me about three weeks to figure out

SOURCE: RE: GPX Touchscreen Media Player
you will need an advanced movie editor or converter that can convert the video from the supported types(even if it is already an .avi file) to: 320x240 resolution, using the xvid mpeg4 codec for video and mpeg layer3 mp3 audio codec. the quality can only be as high as 64 kbps i believe.
the player itself comes with a converter either built-in or on a cd. this converter sucks though and wont sync up the audio to the video very well at all. so i suggest you use a high quality converter so the videos will be watchable.
