HI,
Do you need to know the rating of fuse used in the power supply. Or do you mean that Power supply is not working.

Sorry, I haven't used FixYa very much and I was just trying to look at other 3100MP projector issues and solutions. I already replaced the fuse with a compatible one, I was just looking around to see what other kinds of problems there were. Thanks for the reply though.

How to replace sony vaio pcvl640 fuse?

This is a fuse in the power supply, you will be sure to discharge electricity before opening the power supply it is dangerous. You start by taking all of the screws out of the power supply then gently remove cover of the power supply, there is a small fuse like you would use in your car located near the back of the power supply. Simply take a wooden object small enough to prize the fuse out and replace with a new fuse. Then assemble the power supply and replace into the computer.

There are ,also, some protection circuits as well. These are in place to protect the unit from surges are unstable AC spikes as well. There is a fuse that is located inside the power supply box. Simple unplug the power supply, and gain access to the fuse, by removing the outer cover of the power supply unit. there are a few screws,(on the bottom), that hold the top cover. remove the screws, and open the power supply unit. this will expose the fuse. Kindly, inspect the fuse. if it shows signs of trauma, and it is blown, simply replace the fuse.

Fuse for gx150 power supply

The fuse is located inside the ATX switch mode power supply and it is solder onto the circuit. There are dangerous voltages inside this power supply. I suggest you get a new switch mode power supply because failure of a component inside the power supply has caused the fuse to blow and replacing the fuse would most likely not fix the power supply.

Hi i changed colour cartridge tried trial run printer died; changed fuse in plug; still no power any suggestions please

in the printer there is a power supply board.there is a same type of 3amp fuse on the power supply board.if there is any kind of overheating in the power then the fuse in the plug and fuse on the power supply board blows out.in some cases only fuse on power supply board blows out.this fuse is placed on the board for safety reasons.because in the older model printers when this short circuit problem was happening at that time whole board used to blow out.so in the new model of printer a fuse is placed on the board ,so if any overheating or any power outage or any short circuit occurs.the fuse blows out instead of whole power supply board. You just need to replace the fuse on the power supply board by disassembling the printer.the power supply board is the green color square shaped board.its the board to which your power wire of printer is connected. the fuse is available at any local electric hardware shop.its not any special kind of fuse. This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
