Question about RCA OPAL M4001 MP3 Player
So I got the rcs opal m4204 for Christmas and up until today I have not had any problems. So this morning I turned it on to listen to some music and it was strange. When it turned on it froze at the logo with the white background. It just says initializing with 3 dots after it. Last night it worked perfectly well. The other strange part is that when I plugged it in to my computer it charges and it says full battery but the little battery at the top right shows that its still charging like its incomplete. I really need help is there anything I can do to fix it?

I know this is an old post but here you go...
You can try one of two things.
1st try to reset the device by holding the power button for more than 10 sec.
2nd You can try to reinstall the firmware by following these steps:
To update the firmware on your M4200 or MC4200 series, you will need to:
1. Connect your device prior to installation.
2. Click on the download link.
3. Select "Save" and select the appropriate folder to save the installer.
4. Run the downloaded installer and follow the instructions to complete installation.
Hope this helps! If these options don't work I would call RCA support.
