I have a banging under my ford windstar paid 2000 for van have put 10000 into it have always have fords love them but this problem mechanics cant figure it out......driving me crazy

It could be any one of a number of things:-
Exhaust system
Anti roll bar on front suspension
Stabilising arms
gear linkages
Wishbone joints
ball joints
rear suspension linkages
shock absorbers
engine or gearbox mounts.
flat spots on wheels

Try figure out if the noise only happens under certain circumstances like road surfaces or wheel speeds or engine speeds, and try narrow down the source.

Changing Spark plugs for friend and she said you can't get to the ones at the fire wall what to do?

you can pull the wishbone mounts on the front of the engine and with a pry bar roll the engine forward and put the bolt from the engine side of the wishbone mount in the original hole in the engine side of the mount. this will allow enough room to get to the rear plugs.

Hi I own a peugeot 206 gti 180. It has recently

Check the drop link and sway bar (anti roll bar) bushes also the knock could be in the strut top or the strut itself, maybe disconnect the drop link to the sway bar and drive over a pothole and see if the knock is still there.

My v 4motion creaks whenever it go over anything.

Definitely get the anti roll bar bushes seen to, its such a front heavy car. The sleeves are plastic and crack away, leaving metal on metal. Also the wishbone bushes dry out and will need replacing(most likely source of the creaking). Probably a 2-3 hour job for a decent mechanic, plus parts, you would have to get a price as it is so variable, but I remember buying anti roll bar bushes and drop links from a dealer for less than £50 all in.

Hi, I have a knocking sound coming from the front of my 1997 A6 any time I gone over small or large bumps or holes in the road. It has been suggested my anti-roll bar bushes are to blame. I believe this is...

anti roll bushes are lockated with the arms, that hold your wheels together, if you are not sure get someone to point it out to you, unless you have did them before you may run into a hrd time with it
