Venta 350 humidifier working poorly

I haave a Venta Sonic 350 humidifier that makes a lot of noise and produces little mist, unlike when I first put in a new ''module'' (which is supposed to last 1000 hours). Any ideas on how to solve this? Anyone know where I can get a user manual for a Venta VS350 (I have emailed the Venta company in the U.S. and not received any response. Thanks
