I suggest your computer isn't stuck on Power Saver Mode

Your monitor went to Power Saver Mode

Power Saver Mode, Sleep Mode, NO SIGNAL = Same/same,
in this instance.

Why?

Because your computer isn't working.
The two leading causes of desktop computer failure is it is dirty inside, and/or a bad Power Supply.

There are issues with bad capacitors on the motherboard, too.

1) State the computer manufacturer, and model number.
I don't like giving generic one-size-fits-all information.

2) Do you have a multimeter, or access to one?
An economical model can be purchased for as little, as $5 to $12.
Available in a multitude of stores. An auto parts store is but one example.
I have seen them on checkout aisle racks, in major discount stores.

3) Is the computer dirty inside?

4) Is there a working computer that has a Compatible power supply, that you can borrow for a temporary test unit?
Won't hurt the Power Supply, if something is wrong with the computer.

(Unless of course you open it up, and everything is melted together inside the computer! lol!) {DOUBT IT}

Anti-Static Precautions:
Your body carries Static electricity. Static WILL fry out (Short Circuit), the delicate hardware components inside a computer.
Relieve your body of Static BEFORE reaching inside your computer.

Computer ON a table, computer unplugged from power, computer case open;
TOUCH an unpainted area, on the metal frame of the open computer case.
This action will relieve your body of Static.

IF you leave your computer in the middle of working on it, be SURE to Touch the metal frame again, upon your return.

OR,
Try what JLTJJ recommends,

SOURCE: my ibm desk top is stuck in power save mode monitor won't work

So the only way you have to act is, turned off and directly on the mainboard, so do it carefully.
You'll have to find out, where, on the mainboard is located the battery, (a small coin like
unpluggable metallic piece)
Remove it and let all static electricity completely disapear, so, let the cpu power unplugged,
battery removed, for 1h,
Then, place back, battery, try to start again if not working it's hardwaire failure.

SOURCE: My Gateway 500s monitor is stuck in power save mode

Try tapping the F8 key while booting the computer, you will get the start up menu, choose safe mode, when you log on, go to the display settings, that is right click on the desktop, properties, screen saver, advanced and make sure that hibernation is off, along with turn off disks or whatever , probably see turn off monitor after XX minutes, I make ours 15 minutes (150 computers and servers), I don't let the disks turn off. Choose always on also, not home/office. Try this and see if these settings help.

Stop computer feom going into power save mode by itself.

You should be able to stop this by going into the control panel, select power options and change the settings for the hdd, sleep etc.

Just set them to 0 and that should stop it powering off.

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
or
During the boot process tap the f8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things

When I leave my computer, after a while, the screen says that it is going into the power saver mode. When this happens, I can't do anything with the comuter. Can't turn it off, can't get the screen out of...

Basically you need to tell the computer to "wake up." Different systems come out of power-save mode different ways.

First, try pressing the key to the left of the [CTRL] button on the right side of the keyboard. It looks like a list with an arrow pointing at the second line.

Next, if you have a keyboard with a little button that has a quarter-moon logo design on it, press it.

Also, look at the power light indicator on the CPU. It should change color when it goes into power-save. If it does, try pressing the power button once for it to wake up. The same is true if there is a power button on the keyboard.

If none of these work, you should look at your preferences and make adjustments. The power-save mode adjustments are generally found in the control panel under Performance and Maintenance in the Power Options section.

Hope this works for you!!

My computer(a dell) is stuck on save power mode

The reason your computer is in power save mode is because the little battery inside your tower is going dead. It needs to be replaced. It is a small battery about the size of a nickle inside your tower. Change the battery and it will solve your problem.

Dimension E521 stuck in power saver mode

OK, I am sorry to say that it seems to be more than I thought. Here is a link to a forum where other people are having the same problem. I expected it to be a setting but this sounds like I'm wrong. I sure wish I could be more helpful. Here's the link though. Good luck, I know how frustrating it is.
