SOURCE: fan working grill working just no heat in siemens oven

hello the first thing that we need to look at is the electrical box thats is outside and see if there are any more braekers tripped. the clue is that everything work except the heat. thats 208/230 volt and the rest of the oven is 115 volt. e sure to take the breakers and push them all the way to off then back to the on position. if thats is the problem now you are going to have to call a service man to check out what is shorting and causing the breaker to trip.

On my Zanussi Grill element there is a clip on very slim "bracket" which has a place for the Thermometer tube to clip in. The bracket is right where the terminals go through the rear of the oven. Does this help?

Change light in whirlpool gold accubake system upper microwave oven

If you need to replace the bulb for the interior cabinet, you'll need to remove the two screws that holds the upper grille in place with a Philips screwdriver.

Access to these screws are from on top of the microwave.

Once you remove the grille, you should see a white plastic cover with a release tab; pop the open and you'll have access to the bulb compartment:

Watch the following youtube video- the instruction phase of removing the grille and access to the bulb compartment starts at 2:40

How do I fix a continuously running upper oven fan

Without knowing the make and model, this is a guess, the fans usually run for some time after switch off, to allow cooling I am guessing this carries on until you isolate the mains. If so you have a thermostat problem. It would be easier to de-fine if there were more information.

Creda oven manual

The heat control knob needs to be replaced. This controls the amount of electricity that foes to the burner. Sometimes the burner itself has too much resistance and will only work when full current is applied. Hope this helps, please post a comment that this is solved on fixya.com. So I get credit for a solved problem if it does. If not, check back and give me more info.

What does F34 mean as an error message?

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

The "F34" code on your model of Thermador double oven indicates the control has detected an error with the airflow for the upper oven ( all lower codes start with "6", upper start with "3" )

This could indicate a faulty blower motor, not coming on at all, or if it does come on and still initiates an F34 error, it is likely the sail switch is sticking. It can be removed and cleaned as they do become contaminated with dirt, grease and dust over time.

The sail switch is located at the very bottom of the ovens where the grill is, under the lower door.

example:
macmarkus_999.jpg

( F34 can also be initiated by a failed "K6" relay on the control board, but that is less likely )

It can be accessed by way of removing the grill, however it is something usually best left to an authorized B/S/H/ service provider as it can be quiet involved and is better to pull the unit from the wall.

**Turn off the 40 amp breaker to the oven before attempting any service...safety first**

B/S/H/ is the parent company for Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Siemens.

Thank you for choosing FixYa today and good luck, please take a moment to rate the info provided here for you.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

My GE JKP45 double oven needs a new control panel (part # WB27K5047 which is no longer available) There are a few place I've found on-line that refurbish electronic panels, or if it only has a loose...

according to the website i use to look up part#s while the part# you have is indeed not available a replacement for it is WB27T10050
to removeand replace it unscrew the screws that hold it to the cabinet pull it out about 4-6 inches, remove the grill directly under the control panel on the upper oven and look for screws around the panel where ya have pulled it out of the cabinet
to see yourself the replacement part# go to searspartsdirect and enter the model# and you will see the eoc (electronic oven control) as item #16 under the control panel and top tab

AEG D2100-4 , THE TOP GRILL HAS FALLEN DOWN AND THE RETAINING SCREWS WONTS GO BACK ANY IDEAS THANKS

Hi the spare part solution is to replace the oven liner. not economic and difficult to do. If engneering minded you can make a long slide clip i have made some out of an old oven shelf grid.forming a shape similar to a tent peg in shape and size and sliding it horizontally through the grill retainining bracket and hole in the oven liner. not easy to explain this but it works on aeg bosch and neff ovens with the same fault.

My oven door does not close tight

These hinges are now obsolete and you cannot get them anywhere. The poblem with this type of hinge is not with weak springs or anything like that, it is with the pivot pin in the door hinge. Follow these instructions and it will not cost you anything for the repair.
It is best to remove the oven from the housing. Remove both sides of the oven panels, you have to remove the top first, then the sides (remove about 20 screws all together). Support the bottom oven door first by tying a bit of string between the bottom and top oven door hand rails. This will stop the door falling down when you remove the springs. unhook the springs and the door will just slide out. (Use a loop of string attached to the back end of the spring to pull it from its holes.)
Dismantle the door by removing the screws. You will probably find that the the hinge pivot pins have come away from the U shaped hinge bracket. The secret is to make sure that these are fixed firm back into the bracket. What I did was to nip the U hinge bracket in a vice, (or use pliers) so that the pin will now protude slightly each side of the bracket. This allows more surface bearing area so the pin will not pull itself out of the hinge. To further make sure, I glued the ends of the pin with epoxy resin.
Then reassemble.
My door now feels like a new one even though it is 15 years old.
