Roomba going in circles

Roomba going in circles. Called irobot and if reseting it (by taking out the battery, unplugging it from the charger, and holding down the power button for 30 seconds), didn't work, turn the roomba over, take a compressor and blow air into the front. Maybe a shop vac would also work. We cleaned out the whole thing while we were at it. And now it works just fine. The tech person at irobot was very helpful.

Roomba runs a couple seconds after a 2 day charge (2 different batteries)

Reset your charging cycle by removing the battery and pressing the power button for 5 seconds, then reinsert the battery and charge the Roomba directly from the charger (not the base) for 72 hours.

My Roomba will not charge, the light on the charger is on and when you plug in the roomba the light goes out and nothing happens. Can anyone help. It is a Discovery Model 4210

Are you using the home base or are you plugging the charger directly into the Roomba? If you are using the base, give plugging directly into the unit a try.

You might also try resetting the battery. With the battery out of the unit, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds or so. After this is done, plug the charger directly into the unit, and let it charge for 3 days (no kidding, 3 days). After that, if you still have issues, it might be time for a new battery, or time to send the little guy in for repair.

New battery. Charged for 24 hours. Light is green, but after 20 seconds light turns red and it stops.

There's a chance that the battery you bought is bad. There's a greater chance that the problem is with the charger. If you're using the dock to charge, try plugging the charger directly into the roomba just to rule that out. If that doesn't fix the problem, I would try borrowing or buying a new charger, and see if that works. If a new charger and new battery don't solve the problem, the problem must be with your roomba itself.

Roomba 560, the small red light above the schedule button will not reset and the roomba will not run. The problem started when I the roomba sat dead for 12 hours. I tried the spot dock reset trick with no...

You should start by removing the "belly plate" of the Roomba and simply removing the battery to cycle power to the unit. If that does not solve the problem, it sounds like you need a replacement circuit board for the 560. That's alot trickier since iRobot doesn't like to sell those...they want you to send to them for service.
Your options would be to send to a reputable Roomba repair center like www.protechrobotics.com or you can buy a replacement PCA from places like www.RoboticVacParts.com and replace yourself.

Light houses aren't turning on.

Make sure your virtual wall batteries are fresh-- even if you're sure they are, try removing and replacing them just to reset the virtual wall.

Then reset your Roomba: hold down "spot" and "dock/demo" for about fifteen seconds. Release them and wait for the tune.

Recharge the Roomba and then try to run it. The virtual walls ought to respond at that point. If they don't, you might find that calling customer support may help.
