I had the same problem, the paper would turn crooked and get all messed up. Followed the advice of one posting and turned the printer upsidedown & shook to clear paper path of debris, but that did not help. Tried running plastic through, no luck!! Then I realized that the paper guide was squeezing my paper supply just enough to make it bow a little on one side, so I slid it over just a tad to give the paper room to lay flat, and whala!! Beautiful printouts every time!

Hi
Try turning the printer off and on.
Check through the paper paths and remove any stuck papers.
Avoid filling the paper feed tray to capacity.
Make sure the paper you're using is the correct type and size for your printer.
Align the paper correctly on the feed tray.

I am trying to print my guest receipts and it is only printing out a quarter of the sheet with no ink.

hello, lets see if we can seperate problem with computer and printer, try running printers self test, i am curios if the machine will print properly, turn printer off, then hold paper feed button and turn machine on, paper will feed and print, once the first test pass, if you want to print the rest, press paper feed button, and machine will print and cut paper, this test is rather a little long, but it will give you info regarding paper feed, and cutting as well as impressions. if paper is dragging, check to see if the paper in machine is in correctly, you might want to check this out first, if the paper is in correctly, then problem is feeding, this is a little hard to clean, but you might want to try some isoproply alcohol and put some on the lead in paper, just enough to get paper wet, and try to allow machine to feed in, or maybe, if paper is already feeding in wet some area before going into machine with alcohol, and press feed button, and allow the paper to feed thru. tear off paper and try the printer test again. if still fails then machine has a problem and will need service.

No longer feeds the paper correctly when trying to print. It seems to feed the paper at an angle. I can hand feed one page at a time but still isn't straight. What can I do?

Hello,

Please try to reinstall the your printer driver. Usually the driver is the one which malfunctions.
Good luck.

Paper doesn't always feed, and when it does, the paper rolls through without printing

Get a Q-Tip and alcohol. Wet Q-tip with alcohol. Stand in front of the printer and look down where the paper feeds through. On the righthand side you will see a big roller that pulls the paper through and a little one right up under that. Clean both of them with the alcohol and Q-tip. Press the paper feed button and as it trys to act like it is feeding the paper, clean the roller with the Q-tip. Do this until the paper feeds through correctly.

Paper pulls to the right, jams, won't print, tried different paper still won't print

Hi,
Sounds like the feed rollers need cleaning.
Clean the feed rollers, lint free cloth, bottled water.
wait for them to properly dry

Revolve the feed roller bar as you clean them, to clean the feed rollers all the way round, remove all particles from them.

Check you ADF grips are set correctly, if not you will get mis-fed sheets. check the tray is sat properly too or mis-feeds.

Check paper size is correct in print properties too.
Should be good then
Try print.

Regards
Richard.

Paper wont feed

It's just one of four things............

1. The paper is not loaded correctly on the correct path.

2. The paper is loaded correctly on the correct path but the "PAPER PATH" selected in the printer driver box or printer preference or application used is not set correctly to grab the paper from the correct path.

3. The paper path sensor is defective which means that the printer needs to be taken to a servicer or you need to contact epson for warranty options

4. The paper being used is too thick for the printer to feed it

Printer will not feed/accept paper.

Front LCD reads error "Check Paper & Retry" When paper is inserted and loaded correctly and machine is reclosed the printer then initializes then reverses the feed of the paper and is ejected and error continues to reappear.
