Go to if you don't have iTunes on your computer already. Click the "Free Download" button on the main page to download and install the latest version of iTunes onto your computer. Open iTunes once the download and installation are complete. Connect your iPhone to your computer with the USB cable. Look for the iPhone option on the left-hand side of the open iTunes window. Right-click on that option and select "Backup."Allow your iPhone files and contacts to get copied over to your iTunes program. This might take a couple of minutes depending on how much data you have on your iPhone. When the backup is finished, click on the "Ejection" option and close iTunes.Unplug your iPhone from your computer. and youre done

Error 1015 in iTunes iphone 3g Model no a1241...

  1. Disconnect the USB cable from your iPhone, but leave the other side connected to your Mac or PC
  2. Launch iTunes
  3. Press and hold down the Home and Sleep/Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the iPhone
  4. Press and continue to hold the Home Button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on
  5. Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes informing you that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected. Your iPhone is now in recovery mode. If you have not launched iTunes, you will see the familiar screen of the USB cable pointing at the iTunes logo signaling to connect the iPhone to iTunes to start recovery.
Once you're in recovery mode, you can either restore the iPhone or adjust the firmware as necessary.
After restoring or upgrading firmware, your iPhone will automatically reboot and exit recovery mode on it's own.

How do I reset my iPhone 4

Just to be clear a "hard reset" will remove everything and restore your iPhone to its factory settings.

Settings - General - Reset
Here you will have various options, the main ones being:
  • Reset All Settings
  • Reset Network Settings
  • Erase All content and Settings
    • Selecting "Erase All Content and Settings" is what constitutes a Hard Reset. Your phone will ask you to enter your passcode, and will then ask to confirm.

Iphone 5s Crashes

You can remove all settings and information from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch tapping "Erase All Content and Settings" in Settings > General > Reset.
To remove all content and settings from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
If you wish to recover the data again, ensure that you have an iCloud or iTunes backup and that it is up to date.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.
When you select to "Erase All Content and Settings," the process can take from a few minutes to several hours. The time this process takes will vary by iOS device:
Devices that support hardware encryption: Erases user settings and information by removing the encryption key that protects the data. This process takes just a few minutes.
Devices that overwrite memory: Overwrites user settings and information, writing a series of ones to the data partition. This process can take several hours, depending on the storage capacity of your iPhone or iPod touch. During this time, the device displays the Apple logo and a progress bar.
Note: If possible, connect your device to a charger and leave it connected until the process is complete.

If you deleted all the system settings, it's hard to recovery it by no other resources. So reinstall is the only options most likely.
It depends your OS X system version to decide how to recover.
If it's below OS X 10.7, there might be a DVD disk came with your Mac computer, use that DVD disk to boot your machine to reinstall OS X. Otherwise, there should be a recovery volume could be used to boot.

To boot from DVD, take look at: "Troubleshooting Mac OS X installation from CD or DVD"<>.
