Laser printer ml 2010, paper pull in problems

My laserprinter samsung ml 2010 has a problem with the paper. it pulls in 1/4 the paper and then it stops. I changed the toner cartridge, but without solving the problem. what can it be?

My problem started 13 months after I bought the printer (and they refused to consider any solution/fix/replacement). As far as I can make out this is a design 'feature' of the printer., with lots of people having the problem. I tried everything, thicker paper, new cartridge, eventually I even dismantled the printer. The only thing that works for me is to keep the printer tray topped up, and also I keep repositioning the paper in the tray after it jams (sometimes pulling it back a millimetre or so in the tray). Eventually it prints. Have to turn printer off and on between jams.

As soon as the toner runs out this printer gets binned and I never buy another samsung product again (or use Dabs).

Same a the others - pulls in the paper part way and then jams. Can it be fixed or I have to dump it?

I have a Samsung ML 2010 with the typical problem where it pulls in the paper 1/4 of the way and then stops and just reports a paper jam... the trouble is there is no paper jam... it appears that some sensor might be a problem.

This machine is so underused that not even one **** (500) sheets of paper have been through it in it's entire LIFE!!

Tech support at Samsung told me my warrantee is over. so even though it's new it doesn't pay to fix..

    The Samsung people tell you..

    1. clear the paper out..

    2. turn off the machine.

    3. turn on the machine.

    4. print out a test page (by holding down the silver botton for more than 3 seconds

    5. trying again.

This worked for me.. BUT!! only for one page and the same problem would occur.

Now no matter what I do the paper still will Jam..

It seems like it could be a sensor problem of the paper position which falsely reports a jam and shuts things down.

So many people have this issue perhaps a class action suit against Samsung is in Order.

I might try to reinstall the drivers and clean the big center roller to see if I have any luck.. but it looks totally clean and perfect.

Anyone have any other ideas?... it would be a shame to toss a machine that has less than 500 prints on it.

Is this a Printer..... Or is it a Bic?? a writing instrument that you through away.

I have the same problem and ready to smash this printer. It is like the small roller in the center lost traction and the spring tray under the paper does not put enough tension on the paper. Poor design and I will never buy another Samsung device ever again.

My printer does the same thing. I bought it because it was small and cheap, however, it is not worth the stress of it continually jamming up and fixing it.

I also have the ML-2010R and I also had the paper feed problem. with warnings about paper jam around toner cartridge.
After a bit of reading and people mentioning the big roller that picks up the sheet of paper and that it needs replacement; I decided to carefully try to clean that rubber roller.
I used a brush and medical alcohol to clean the roller. After letting the roller dry I put in some paper and tried to print again and for me it works like a charm!

I lifted up the front of the machine a couple of inches, using a cardboard box.

The paper now feeds downhill slightly.

It works well. Worked on my CLP-300 too.

My Samsung ML-2010 laser printer grabbed up 2 sheets of paper and now both are jammed. I can't pull them out. Now what could I do?

Removing paper jams from printers can be tricky. You'll want to be careful to not tear off the paper. Always try to pull the paper in the feed direction if you can. The Samsung should have a doo in the back or in the paper area that can be opened to assist in removing the jam. If this persists, you may need to replace the paper feed rollers.

How do you clear paper jan ml2250

The tips for removing paper jam are basically universal for all laser printers so here is what I would do.

1) Open front cover remover toner cartridge, check for & remove paper. Reinsert toner and close front cover back up upon completion.

2) Pull paper tray / paper out and check for paper stuck in input paper area

3) On top backside of printer you should find a door that opens up to allow access to backside. Open this up and pull any paper out from within there.

There should not be any need to unscrew any screws and I would not recommend doing so to remove paper.

You should always be able to remove paper jam via openable doors.

I believe these steps should relieve the problem, if not please let me know & I will be glad to assist further.
