Question about Kenmore 73502 / 73504 / 73509 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
Bottom freezer model 7508 kenmore about 5 yrs old.
Twice in the last 2 mos a sheet of ice forms on the bottom of the freezer.
Would like to know why, no info in manual.
Your defrost heater assembly has probably failed. Look at the ends of the heater for darkness like that of a bad neon bulb. Replace the heater assembly as a unit after removing the ice with a hair dryer. Becareful not to drop the glass heaters when replacing.
