That could be a problem with the USB connection on your motherboard. This is not a big issue, if you can you just open up your CPU and locate the USB connection on the motherboard. It is not clear to me whether it is the USB ports from the front panel or it is the USB ports that are on-board (usually found at the back). If it is the USB ports from the back, the one built - in on the board, then the BIOS has to be configured again to enable Plug and Play attributes. If the ports are from front then you need to follow the cable that connects the usb port to the mother board. Disconnect and reconnect. Or check whether it is actually connected to the right port on the motherboard. Usually it is written on the motherboard.
