I'm not sure of this headset. But if you just unpackaged it I would try charging it for a good hour. Then try it.

Blue parrot b250xt when making a call cant hear it ring on parrot . When reciving a call you have to divert to hands free.

Seems like you have an issue that is very common. I had the same issue and phoned tech support (1 800 742 8588). The solution is to reset the headset. It is not printed in the manual 1 switch phone on and pair with headset. 2 when paired (blue light flashing) put the charger on the headset for exactly 10 seconds. 3 remove the charger. 4 the lights should be starting to alternating between red and blue. this means it is resetting. 5 as soon as the light quits to alternate, the headset is reset, and the problem should be solved.
This also fixes the Windows 6.1 audio problem.

Wont audio to headset

The problem with the Blue Parrot headset not getting audio from the phone is a very frustrating one and it took several hours to diagnose the problem. (Especially the Samsung/ Windows side, in my case)

I have a Samsung I760 phone using Windows Mobile 6.1. After pairing, the headset is visible in the PHONE window, as it should. But upon dialling, the audio transfers from headset to phone.

While in a call, you can tap on the menu button and it should bring you to a menu that would allow you to transfer the audio from headset to phone and vice versa. But this action malfunctions in the Blue Parrot headset only. The Blue Eagle headset works fine.

MY SUGGESTIONS:

1) Chuck the hideously expensive blue parrot headset in the trashcan and buy yourself a blue eagle, available at truck stops everywhere

2) Pester the Blue parrot support staff for a replacement, or a solution at 1800 742 8588.

Make sure you understand the manual and especially point 13 dealing with the transfer of audio before you call them.

Other than this, the headset actually works fine.

After i enter my passkey it says connection failure for my h700 blue tooth

On the Blackberry, Go to Options, Bluetooth. Select the blackberry button, Add Device, and search. If search doesn work, try listen. While these are going conduct the following on the Headset:

Close theheadset. Go to the phone and choose discover, or search. Open the headset and pressand hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized.

Also make sure the battery on theheadset is charged before doing this.

If this doesnt work: Start the search onthe phone, Keep the boom of the mic closed when you press and hold the buttonon the h700. the light should turn purple. After this, open the boom

The passkey is 0000, four zeros.

I have lost my manuel and have forgotten how to pair my bluetooth, can you help me out?

To connect your headset:

Start with your headset turned off.
Press and hold down the control button.
After 6-10 seconds, the light will flash blue, then it will flash red, then blue.
Release the buton when you see the red/blue.

On your phone (depending on your phone, the commands may be different or even not necessary. Navigate through your phone menu until you see commands similar to):

Enable Bluetooth
Turn Discoverable to "Yes" or "On"

You may also have to "Add Device" in order for your phone to start searching for your headset.
On your phone, select Plantronics 3xxx.
If you are prompted for a Passkey, use 0000 (that's 4 zeros).
It is now ready to use.

Hope this works for you.
