How do you actually get the juicebox to format the sd card... i stick it in and turn it on and all it does is play that stupid video of stuff on the box itself...

Re: Juice Box (Mattel) Problem playing downloaded tracks...

I had this same exact worked when i tried formatting the card and then putting files on it again. the only thing is, the juicebox is a pain in the ass when it comes to file shouldn't have much of a problem with mp3s, but on my juicebox, the photo viewing thing is just shot. i tried every filetype, but it just doesn't work anymore, only music works. it's a shame, because in my opinion the picture viewing that was what really carried it along, especially because you can't even control the music, you have to just listen to the whole song all the way through. so in that case, if it's that big a thing with that large a screen and the volume control is so messed up anyway and it sounds horrible without headphones, i said the hell with it and stuck to my ipod, but as for your kid, enjoy the image viewing thing while you can, and remember to format that card, and if you have alot of files on there that you don't want to lose, remember to back them up.

god, all this trouble to view some damn pictures and listen to music-did i forget to mention you can't control the music?? god, even an old record player can do that!

what a peice of crap. a waste of my money.

good luck anyway.

Did you put the sd card into the juicebox before the pc? you need to put the card into the juice box first and let the juicebox format the card, then put it into your pc and transfer songs.

I have a sylvania SDVD7030-B dvd player and a lexar 8gb sd card i downloaded music pics and vids on to the sd card the everything works fine but the vids say video codec not supported can anyone help

Try inserting the SD card into a PC SD card slot and see if it plays for you. If it does, then the Sylvania does not support the file extension used in the files you downloaded. It's not a fault.

I need fast help to get some music on the mp# player for my son for christmas. Can you help

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :-

Disney Mix Stick

Plug into USB port. Use Windows Explorer to view contents of your PC. You will see two drives associated with your Mix Max. The first is your internal memory the second is your SD card. Drag and drop files into this file. These can then be played by choosing card from menu

Plays the same introduction over and over

The juicebox has a built in video intro that plays when there is no media inserted; it's a cyclic clip from various cartoon network shows. In order to play a video, you have to insert a Juicebox Video cartridge into the player.
To use the MP3 kit, you put the SD card holder into the Juicebox. install the Juicebox software on your computer, put the USB card reader in your computer, and insert the supplied SD card. put a music CD in your computer, use the juicebox ripping software to convert the CD music into 128kbit MP3's, put them into the SD card. then take the SD card, put it in your juicebox SD card adaptor, turn it on. music will come out.

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.

Why do my songs show up on the SD card on my PC, but not on my MP3 player

I think that the problem is with the songs file formats. Try checking that they are all mp3. if they aren't then you have to convert them using an "MP3 Converter" software. there all plenty on the web. Goodluck
