Question about Computers & Internet
I changed my Cordless Desktop E90 keyboard's battery. Since then it's not being detected. I tried several pairs of batteries, including new ones, but without any luck. I saw somne other posts in fixya.com with similar problems, but none of the solutions worked for me(rattling the keyb, resetting the receiver etc.) . Thanks in advance for any help....
On my Dell keyboard there is a button that will cycle through frequencies until a match is found for the PC and keyboard to communicate. The keyboard may reset to a "default" frequency after a battery change. You might look to see if your keyboard has such a button.

OK. I would next suggest that you go into control panel>system>device manager and look for the keyboard and delete it. It should then rediscover the device. Sometimes that happens--it's sort of like slapping it upside the head! You have to get its attention, if you will forgive the analogy.
You can do all this work with the mouse.
