I do have a clear colored button on the top right, but it only flashes orange when I have a voicemail or I am getting a phone call. However, i do have a microphone button. Only when my phone is on speaker phone mode, can i push that button to mute the call. I would like to be able to mute the call when I am on headset or talking from the reciever. Any other suggetions?

The mute button is the top right button, it's a clear colored button. When it's lit and orange it's muted.

That's the right button and it should mute the call no matter what you use, speaker phone, headset or handset. Does it work from any 5212?

While calling I can hear the voice from other side but he can't hear my voice - its one siided

You may have your microphone muted.

Try finding Menu Options - Mute during a call, and look for an On/Off selection. That is for a Nokia E63.

It may be called something a bit different on your phone, like Phone Settings - Mute, or similar sort of thing.

When making or recieving a call, i cannot hear the caller but they can hear me. the volume is up so i dont no what the problem is

Your phone is either muted on your end or the microphone has gone out on it. Next time you're in a call look in your call options and see if there is a mute option, or see if there is a microphone symbol with a line through it on your call screen. If there is a microphone symbol with a line through it click it to turn the mute off. If you don't have a mute option on your phone then chances are the microphone has gone bad.

I cannot hear incoming calls. But when i telephone somebody they can hear me. I have checked my volumns and they are all on maximum

If you cannot hear the phone ringing then you may have set it to meeting or silence option without changing the volume level. If you can hear the phone ring but not the person on the otherside then you may have muted the call. Check your phone settings

What to press for Mute key

While not in a call, simply press down on the volume keys (the first set of buttons on the right side of the handset) until the sound is off (this mutes actions like playing videos, apps, et cetera).
If you're trying to silent the ring, then highlight the speaker/sound icon on your handset's homescreen, select it with the optical trackpad, and scroll down to select the option "silent".
If you're in a call and you want to mute it so that the person on the other end of the line cannot hear you, there are two options: first you may select the mute option on the screen itself by highlighting it with you trackpad and selecting it. The simplest way, in my opinion would be to use the button located on the very top of the handset, to the right side. Depress this during a call, it's very easy and the screen will display whether or not this was successful.
