Check the belt on the drive system to the motor.if the motor is working the belt might be broken. If the belt is intact it could be a relay to engage the belt drive.

Washer does not spin. when it should be spinning it buzzes. I gave the tub a push start and it did rotate slowly. the washer does rotate for washing


Possible that the drive is jammed or the motor is faulty , the voltage to the motor is low. If there is a capacitor to the motor then the capacitor can be weak and might result in slow start.

I have a front loading GE wcvh6260fww that will fill with water, but will not agitate or spin out the water...thus, no washing of clothes regardless of cycle selected. The timer counts down and the water...


probably a bad door switch, if you can take the door or top off and find the wires running to the switch take the wires off theswitch and plug them together by wrapping electrical tape around them and then try the washer. If that dont work may be a bad control board
