If the model number you have this listed under is correct, then the following link will guide you through the necessary steps required to replace a door bellow on a Whirlpool Duet:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385211-replacing_door_bellow_whirlpool_duet

I apologize, but I do not have any pictures to upload of the procedure. However, if you go to searspartsdirect.com and type in your model number, there are some excellent exploded view diagrams of your washer to assist in dis-assembly and repair. The bellow and components are listed under the "Door and Latch Parts" heading. The part number for door bellow is 8182119.

An alternate method of replacing the bellow is to remove the top panel of the washer and work through the door opening. However, the method described in the link provided, offers the best access.

If you have questions, if this is not your make and model number, or if you require additional assistance, please let me know.

PS Appliancepartspros.com has the door bellow for a better price.

Leak/boot tear in whirlpool duet washer

The front door seal is referred to as the "bellow". They will wear out with age and may become mishapened from repeated pressure from the door being closed. Over time the bellow can stretch or develop rips and tears and begin to leak. If the bellow is leaking, or no longer providing a good seal, it must be replaced. This will cause water to puddle under the front of the washer and inside the cabinet. The following link explains how to access and replace one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3574186-installing_a_door_bellow_on_a_front_load

Replacement parts can be purchased at any of the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

All these sites are reputable and have great service with competitive pricing, so shop and compare. The first three sites I listed also include helpful exploded view parts diagrams to assist you in locating and properly identifying the parts you need. If the model number is correct, the part number is 8182119.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: If you leave the door OPEN between washes this will help prevent constant pressure on the door seal which can stretch it out of shape over time. It is also beneficial to allow the wash tub to air out to prevent mold and mildew from forming. In addition, overloading the washer can contribute to premature wear and tear on the bellow which can lead to rips, tears and possible dislodging from the bellow clamp seals. Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations for loading in your owner's manual.

The rubber seal on my washer came apart along with the metal ring and spring. How do I replace it

The following link explains step-by-step how to install a door bellow on a Whirlpool Duet. I'm enclosing entire replacment steps just in case you need to replace the bellow. They can rip or tear when they become dislodged. Make sure you inspect the entire bellow for holes, rips, or tears:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385210-replacing_door_bellow_kenmore_elite

Read through the link provided and let me know if you have any questions.

NOTE: There is another method you may try as well. Although I do not prefer this next method because these washing machines are very heavy, an alternative way of replacing the door bellow is to remove the lower toe panel and tilt the washer back at a 45 degree angle instead of removing the washer front panel. If you use this method, make sure it rests against the wall and will not tip forward. This allows the wash tub to drop down and away from the front panel and gives you access to the the rear bellow clamp through the bottom. This can save you some time. Thanks to user DGBG for the helpful tip!

If you would like some helpful exploded view diagrams of your washer that you can reference, you can use any of these web sites:

searspartsdirect.com
appliancepartspros.com
pcappliancerepair.com

Just use your model number to begin your search criteria.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: These door seals do wear out and require replacement from time to time. However, overloading the washer to the point where items get caught in the door area can contribute to premature wear and tear.

How to reinstall rubber ring between door frame and washer tub on a whirlpool duet washer

The rubber ring is called the "bellow". The following link explains the steps necessary to install one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385211-replacing_door_bellow_whirlpool_duet

Make sure you inspect the bellow to ensure it has no leaks or tears, first. Re-installing a damaged bellow will only result in a leaky washer.

If its only the front bellow clamp that needs to be re-installed, skip down to step 12. If the rear clamp has come loose where it attaches to the front of the wash tub, then you will have to follow all the steps that require you to remove the front panel. It may sound intimidating, but its an easy repair if you follow the steps provided.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Replacing bellows on Whirlpool Duet HT model GHW9400PL0

I have not seen a tech sheet (or service manual) that details how to remove one of these. Basically, once you have your replacement boot (availible at local parts stoares or from the manufactures web site on line), You can follow these steps:
1 - Remove the front clamp. (a silver peice of wire with a spring at the botom) A small flat head screwdriver will let you pull it off.
2 - You will have a clamp on a hose that comes from the dispenser to the boot on some models that you will have to disconnect.
3 - There is a second clamp on the tub side itself. Remove it by using a short phillips head screw driver to unscrew it.
4 - remove the boot
5 - Reverse the procedure making sure to line the new boot up at the top. (there is a arrow that needs to be ligned up on the tub and the boot.
Taking the lower front panel off can give you a bit more room to work. You can take it off by removing the screws at it's bottom.
