Install the drivers. If that doesn't work you probably have a faulty mouse.

lite works after installing new batteries. still won/t move cursor

click button on stick 1ce then
click button on mouse wait 2 sec sroll wheel first then click button

If you have tried it on another computer and its still failing then sorry but most likely the mouse is stuffed. Buy a new one. Go for Logitech, its the best brand for reliability.

I can not suggest any solution from here without knowing ur mouse type whether it is wireless or USB/PS2 mouse.
and what is ur platform of Operating system.
Because there would be a lot remedies depends on ur type of mouse.
