There are two screws at the bottom you remove and then the front will slide up 1/2 inch or so unlocking the tabs on the side and you can pull the front off. There is a guide pin in the top to help align it when you put it back together. Here is a DIAGRAM which might help.

Hello acedel72 - Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Unit could possibly be experiencing a communication issue with the control panel, faulty door lock switch or wiring failure which would need further diagnosing.
