Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Web Camera
My daughter has a new web cam and when she first calls (or I call her) it seems to be fine and within a minute it starts to slow down until finally it freezes up and doesn't move at all. At the same time she is able to see us the whole time and we are able to talk back and forth. Any suggestion.
are a number of things that can cause the computer or the camera to freeze
First I’d check to see how much memory is installed in the computer. It takes additional memory to operate the camera.
Hope this helps. Bud

Hi there, this may help..not sure but try this, click on your desk top icon. web your web cam should be on so u can see yourself.. there is an x at the top of your window say to close and just below it is a square(blue) click on that it will give you different resolution and maybe yours is set to high or to low..or try uninstalling it and then install it again....also there is an arrow right next to the x, where you can minimize your screen if you click on that little arronw that is pooint down it will give you step by step, click on video setting and audio setting...this may help to.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
