Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Where can I buy headphones that have good sound quality?

I like the headphones from Virgin records; the ones they let you listen at the store. They sound like you are listening to a life band.

SOURCE: When I listen to music,

Hi,

Have you tried using other headphones? If the problem is still there using a different headphone, the problem is the ipod headphone. If the problem is still there even after using different using headphone, the problem lies in the jock of your ipod.

If the problem is the jock on your ipod, let Apple handle it. They have the experience. But if the headphones are the problem. Just buy another headphones.

For headphones, i suggest the brand BEATS and SKULLCANDY.

Thanks.

regards,
longgee

When I plug in stereo headphones in the casio wk 210, the sound only comes out of one ear. I didn't really care about that before, but now when I connect a line out from the piano to my computer to...

The output of the casio may only be mono, you can buy splitters to create a 2x channel output. Is there any other outputs from the casio other than headphones, usually there are red/white RCA outputs (Phono's) which would be better for connecting to your soundcard.

Hope I was of use to you, good luck.

Are the beats by dre studio headphones a good investment?

NO!
they're great headphones to be sure. But the quality does not reflect a price that high. I'd stick with sony studio recording style headphones.
the look for a pair who's model number starts with MDR- ??? the higher the number the better the model. Depending on what kind of quality you're looking for you can get an impressively sounding pair for under $50, especially if you're looking online.

I can only get sound out of one ear. Sometimes, if I move the chord around, I can get sound our of both ears. It comes and goes.

I have had this problem several times. It can be due to a number of things
Firstly, try the MP3 player with a different set of headphones, if both ears work, then the headphones are the problem. Check the adaptor and/or cabling for any damage or defects. If the internal cabling is damaged, you will need to go and buy a new pair.
If the problem is the player itself, try checking the headphone port for dust or any other artefacts blocking the way. This can cause he connection to fail and therefore lose sound.
On a side note, if you love listening to music, i would suggest a high quality set of headphones. Sennheiser (my personal favourites) and Shure are both a VERY good brand to go for. You do pay a bit more, but sound quality and build quality are faultless.

Four weeks ago I bought an iPod Touch 32GB. After listening to my iPod on an external speaker I tried using the headphone and the sound is just too low. I thought my headphone was damaged but I tried it on...

Sounds like plugging the external speakers in has damage the spot were the headphones go in. If this is under warranty that bring it to apple store.

Sound problems

Have you tried using a differant set of Headphones? If you still have the same problem with using other headphones, then it seems like there's a poor connection on the sound card from the headphone in input to the board. If your sound card works fine through normal speakers, then that's more then likely your problem.
The cheapest solution would be to replace the sound card rather then have it repaired, as it would probably cost you more to have it repaired then what it would be to buy one depending on what quality of sound your happy to listen to.

Sound not good.

Sometimes you need to "burn in" your headphones. Used headphones usually produce a better sound than new ones. Simply let it play some music continuously. I usually burn in my headphones with some AM/FM static. After a while, the sound should improve. Good luck!
