No Spindle lock and no blade installed in the saw yet. How do I get the motor to lock so I can get the bolt out?

Insert a tool such as a screwdriver across the blade guard and against a tooth to prevent blade rotation, then tighten the blade nut. Be sure to remove the wedging device before operating the saw

SOURCE: I am trying to install
some saws have a button to hold down that will lock the blade in place. if yours doesnt have the button, try putting a screwdriver in one of the cutouts or on the blade tip itslef and lock it in position. your problem may be that the screw on the saw is actually reverse threaded. they usually are reverse threaded.

SOURCE: I've borrowed a circular saw
you just have to look for little button close to blade, smash it, hold it while you move the blabe till gets stuck then you're ready to loose the blade! hope this help
