Question about Coleman Mobile Modular Home Electric Furnace Eb10 Eb10c
I replaced the thermostat with a new digital Honeywell but it did not help. The thermostat works like it should but the heater does not turn on right away sometimes. I can hear clicking sounds coming from inside the furnace before it turns on. Furnace is only 2 years old and installed in 2010 mobile home.
Check your high limit switch find blower motor and unplug white wire let furnace run it should shut off when hot enough if same problem replace high limit switch

SOURCE: 29 year old Coleman Gas
All coleman gas units is incoperated with a secondary inner stat. It resembles a pie with numbers on its outer edge. Usually silver and the numbers span from 50 to 300 on the top and likewise on the bottom. You must not turn it clockwise. Refer to specifications of manufacture to allow proper function.

It may be your thermostat, but try this first to see if time delay relay may be sticking. When it won't shut off, turn propane off, and go outside and unscrew the 2 screws that hold your cover on, and lower the cover down. Look straight ahead, attached to the housing of the fan up near top you'll see a square relay (time delay relay) with 4 male spade connectors, and wires attached to each. It's usually held on with 2 Philips screws. Give it a little rap with the handle of a screwdriver or similar a couple of times, and see if fan stops running. While your there as well, pull the wiring connector off the ignition board, and put back on a couple of times, to clean the connections. Now try it again, and let me know what happens.

SOURCE: coleman mach furnace wont stay running. i turn the thermostat down until i hear it click, then i turn it back up to get the furnace to kick on.works sometimes and sometimes not. blower will always kic
Hi, I don't know if you are still having a problem, but it sound like the flame sensor on the unit is dirty and need to be cleaned. If it has a automatic pilot, it will have a flame sensor. Its made of porcelin with a metal rod coming out the end, laying next to the pilot flame. Just 1 screw holds it in place. Remove it and clean the tip with steel wool or a piece of sanding cloth. If you don't have this set up, I would need more info on the unit, model and serial number. You may also have a faulty thermostat, but I do believe it is a flame sensor.

I had a similier problem, Check your neutral ground? also alot of power companies will come out and do a basic check of the voltages going to the furnace, and can offer advice for free.
