Blue screen on laptop

If the laptop has any messages before the blue screen appears, please share them here so we can better understand and troubleshoot your problem more accurately. Make sure you do not have and CD/DVD or USB sticks mounted when you boot. These could interfere with normal hard drive boot operations. If you do have a bootable CD/DVD such as linux or antivirus utility disk, do they boot normally? You may have to reinstall your operating system.

While I play World of Warcraft on my laptop, the screen goes black and begins to say something about my video. After a bit of it going back and forth from the normal screen to the black screen it restarts...

The game is most likely too much for your laptop's GPU to handle. Black/blue screens are definite systems of pushing hardware a little too far. It simply may not be possible to play the game on your machine.

Known as the Blue screen of death, said to be a problem with either software drivers or hardware. Normally faulty RAM. This laptop needs to be taken in to a PC technician or if it is under warranty then return it to the seller.

My pc wont boot up normally, it has a blue screen show up but then it goes away before i can read it

The blue screen of death BSOD is set to auto-restart after an error you can change the registry to prevent this not sure if you can do this in safe mode but its worth a try you will at least be able to see the error.

Its a good idea to use MemTest on a boot CD to check your RAM for errors first then restore from an old image.

Cannot start in normal mode without blue screen popping up

Duing the startup, can you hit F8 just after the bios shows. You should see a list. If you choose, last known good configuration, what happens? If it blue screen's again, can you startup in safe mode? This is also a item on the list from F8.

Did you install any drivers recently, in the last day or two?

If so, when you boot into safemode, uninstall that driver and try to boot to windows normally.

BLUE SCREEN ON MY LAPTOP

Try going into properties - settings and change the resolution.
Is the blue screen still there? Because if it is, you can sometimes alt+tab it out of there, most likely it's a virus rather than an actual problem with your Notebook.
