Without a print enabler (this allows you print through the network), the only option is print through the USB port, Want to be able to print by anyone in the network, share printer with a host PC via USB, or use a net print server (via USB).

Please check the actuator for the front door switch, it could be bent or out of position. Hope this helps.

The flashing toner light indicates that the photoconductor kit needs to be replaced.
Use this Lexmark Part# : 12A8302 to order. After replacing the drum cartridge counter will have to be reset, Use the following steps.
1. Open the front door (press button on left side).
2. Press and hold the cancel button (x button) until all the lights flash in order.
3. Then close the front cover.
This will reset the drum counter to enable continued printing.

How to reset PC kit:
1. Open the front door cover while the printer is on.
2. Press and hold the Cancel button until all the lights starts flashing.
3. Close the front door cover.
Print a test page to check if the counter has been reset.

turn off the machine.open the front door. open the right door. remove the toner hopper. after the hopper is removed , remove the pcu connector. on the old pcu s a push tab. push the tab with your right thumb and pull the old pcu out. unbox new one. pull all tabs and paper off new one and install. put toner hopper back in. close all covers and turn on machine.

Try resetting by opening the front cover and holding Cancel button until all the lights flash. Close the cover and it should clear.

On Canon copiers the close front door can be caused by other doors besides the front door.Try the fuser door an the left and the vertical transport door.Good Luck

If "ready" and "toner low" lights are both on, your problem is probably photoconductor. You must reset your printer. Turn on the printer, open front door and press "cancel" button until all lights cycle on the operator panel, than release it and close front door.

To reset this error, open the front door then press the cancel button for 3 seconds - all lights will cycle, close the front cover. The counter is now reset
You should of had some instructions that came with the new photoconductor kit that shows you how to do this.
