Sorry Kelly, I'm not the guy who helped you before; but, yes there are and many different kinds. Some easier and some harder to use, in fact there are even kits to build your own.

Search eBay for Bluetooth, receiver, you'll need one with an amp, if the Bose doesn't have one built in. But, otherwise, they're just like paring any other bluetooth device, like a headset, only with these, you don't need the speakers in the headset. In fact, if you bought a cheap bluetooth headset, and the Bose had it's own amplifier, you could wire the headset speaker wires directly to the speaker inputs of the Bose, if you know how, and you might just have a really cheap one!

Red light on not green


helllllo.........red lite......[a] red lites means during the update if it lite red remove the thumb drive from the system ,unplug it from the wall outlet one minute +..then plug back in.make sure the system is power on[ showing green led] insert thumb drive....if problem persist call bose @ 1-877-335-2073us/1-877-701-2175canada.......bose-on see me on amazon for bose remotes bookbundler

How can I fix connection problems with Bose Series 2 Headset? My Bose Series 2 bluetooth keeps dropping and reconnecting to my iPhone 4s on the last IOS update 7.x ... how can I fix?


Hello. I gave one of these as a gift to my friend and he had the same problem as you. I google EVERYTHING, and the Bose website states they manufacture products that are made to last, and if you have ANY problems you should contact them. What I found is there are software updates for your headset (go figure), and I think if you register with them they will email you when that happens. Bose QC 2 Noise Cancelling Headphones the red light is on. Should there be a green light if they are working?


No green light for QC2, just red. If it's constant the battery is charged, powering the noise cancellation, and, if connected to an audio device, conducting sound. If the red light is blinking, the battery is losing its charge.

Try fresh batteries. How old is the headset? You may still be under warranty to return them to Bose for repair.

One headphone is not working. no sound is coming.


pull the plgu of your headset partially from the jack play around it until the other headphone produces sound if this happens it mieans that the Audio port your using is either malfunctioning or you can try youy headset with an MP3 player or any audio device that uses a headset to find out if it is the headset that is damaged

Bose Aviation headset Series 2 has high-pitched squeal.


Try wearing the headset the "wrong way". The left side of the headset on your right ear & the right side of the headset on your left ear. I have the QC15 with the same problem and it worked for me. Good luck!

No Sound/No Power


I used your site to research the problem further. I found an answer which recommended rubbing the suspect terminal lightly with a pencil eraser. It worked! I now have battery power and my headset works fine.
