Question about Epson Stylus Photo R2400 InkJet Printer
I had the same problem with my R2400, it was the feeder mechanism and was fairly easy to sort (for me anyway). If you look in the paper feeder area there is a grey roundish wheel in the bottom right hand corner (looking from above and the front). It often gets dust and fluff etc in and around it and therefore fails to feed the paper through correctly. Try cleaning it with a rough-ish cloth (like a dry flannel etc) - this worked for me.
Alternatively what can also work (as I discovered myself prior to solving the problem) was having a stack of paper in the machine. I.e having multiple sheets in the paper feeder also seemed to solve the problem.
I still get the issue occasionally but it is far less prevelant.

i would Isolate the printer to know if the printer is getting
the error stand alone. Disconnect printer from pc and turn the printer off. take out any remaining paper. Check for small pieces of paper and look for obstruction inside the printer and the paper feeding area. Then try and do a stand alone nozzle check by holding the paper button down and turning the printer on keeping finger on the paper button for arounf 5 sec. now if that still doesnt feed the paper there could be something worng with the machine. hopefully your still under warranty.

Try looking inside the printer and make sure there is nothing foreign in the paper path. I once threw away a printer that wouldn't feed. The next time it happened on my new printer, I was admonished to check the paper path. Lo and behold there was something down in there that prevented the paper from loading properly. You might have to remove the printer case (cover) to inspect thoroughly. Now I use a printer cover when not in use to keep dust or anything else from getting in there. I've spent too much time and money from printer problems and a cover is cheap insurance.

Is the message general error? The problem is tchip. When turn on chip is recognized by printer, but when start to print, printer "read" some information from the chip. Here is the error. Some pin at the chip for redaing the existence of chip, other pin for reading the information. Check connector between chip and carriage.
