Question about Dynex "- 46"" Class - LCD - 1080p - 60Hz - HDTV DX-46L150A11"
I have a 46" Dynex LCD TV that comes on, then after about 5 min - 3 hours it will turn blue or white and blue and make a really loud on going screech no matter the volume. The remote will not work and I have to unplug it. I can then plug it back in and the same things goes on. While moving the connectors around slightly I notice some popping sounds while the TV is on, even if it's not an audio cable I'm touching. Anyone have this issue. It's less than 3 years old.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I think you'll find that the tv is at fault. I, unfortunately bought one of these **** things as well. If you try to turn the channel, or volume, at the tv itself, you'll find that it won't work either. Seems to happen when switching between HD and regular programming a lot, but can happen at any time. You get what you ( and I ) paid for....

Just got off the phone with Dynex, sounds like a common problem with a recent batch.
Tech support suggested returning the tv to futureshop/bestbuy since I'm within 30 days of purchasing.

I had a similar problem with my Phillips 42 in. LCD HD TV.
Here's the problem. The Power Supply Board. I opened my TV up(warranty was up of course) and found several bad capacitors. Phillips and several other companies were sold capacitors that although were highly rated failed within 5 years because of a lack of preservatives. All sorts of electronic equipment is now being effected due to these defective capacitors.
1. Take it in and have it fixed
2. Open it up, check the board for faulty capacitors(bulged or leaking) Buy a new Power supply board and install it.
3. Remove PSB, remove faulty capacitors and replace with compatible new ones.
Hope this helps
