Question about Cisco WAP200 802.11b/g Wireless Access Point
I have a new Brother MFC 9970 printer connected to the WAP. I have the printer set to static IP. After 15 - 20 minutes the connection is lost. If I restart the printer connection is re-established. At first I thought it was the printer and after 3 days of working with (hounding) Brother Tech Support I returned the printer for a new one. Surprise, surprise - same problem so now I suspect the WAP 200G (which I also purchase about 1 month ago).
Your printer is probably going into "sleep" mode after "X" minutes, which may be causing the problem. Use the led interface on the printer to keep it out of sleep mode and that may help.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You must use a router to perform NATing to the ISP. Simply use a Netgear or Linksys router and plug your access point into it. You can even use a Netgear or Linksys wireless router with the ethernet ports built into it. Just disable the onboard wireless.

SOURCE: Cisco Router Boot Loop
you need to follow the steps to perform a password recovery on the router.
don'y actually perform the password recovery step, but you need to get a uncorrupted copy of the isos installed.
then try again.
I have assumed that when you power on the device you are able to see the boot process in hyperterminal, then just befor you get to type anything the unit reboots.
