you shouldn't need any special tool all you have to do is remove the caliper assembly of the rotor and the rotor should come right off. If not then the rotor should come off if a there is a nut holding it on there

How to replace front brake rotors on ford e350

E350 is a little more difficult because you have the hub bearings in the rotor. You will Nerf to repack these bearings when finished. If your still interested I'll give instructions I'm the morning. Just let me know.

My Ford E-350 Van Shakes when braking. I have replaced the Rotors and Brake pads and it still shakes only when braking. What else could be causing this?

Welcome to the world of Ford Truck!!! The rear rotors come off the same way that the front rotors come off, only they get REALLY stuck to the rear hub assembly. Once you have removed the caliper and caliper mounting frame, take a BIG hammer and BEAT the rotors loose.

They make a "drum and rotor puller" for this job, but it is pretty expensive - especially if you are only going to do one set of brakes...even most professionals that do these all the time cannot justify the cost of the tool. The rotors for your truck are not that expensive, and they usually get destroyed trying to get them off anyway...so we always replace them at our shop.

1997 ford ranger xlt pickup 4wheel drive need to no how to remove the front roters? some one told me i need a special tool?

it looks like they are still using a floating rotor for 4wh drive

if so by removing brake caliper & mounting bracket the rotor will slide off
spray down around rotor & hab with rust penetrant, couple of taps/hits on rotor face
some rotors have a taped hole(see picture 2 o'clock)using 2 bolts screw in to assist removal
dont see any special tools being needed
good luck

1999 Ford E350 van problem: brake pedal is soft; have replaced master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, rear brake shoes and drums, front calipers, rotors and discs; have bled master cylinder before...

Good question, on the antilock system is a bleader too and bleade it the same way you bleade the caliper. After all is done adjust the rear brakes, they should have a drag to them.
