How do i clear out the memory of a verifone vx510 that i got from north american bancard? and I've tried 1 alpha alpha 66831 it only gets me past the first password inquiry and not the second grou

At the sales screen hit F2 & F4 together password XX X Alpha Alpha 66831.
Then hit the button under the arrow on the left of the screen one time.
choose flash files the clear all files password XXXXX same as above.
Then clear Ram files clear all files and confirm

By unlock is this for the keypad, if so press the number 8 and enter the password of 1 alpha alpha 66831 enter and then NO- this will unlock the keypad, if there is another lock please submit that question

if you want to remove all the memory you can do that easily, if you want to allow for more memory room you can press F2 and F4 at the same time, enter the password 1alpha alpha 66831 enter and then select the purple key under the arrow pointing down. select memory functions, and it will ask if you want to clear the memory, do this in group 1

hi try 23378463 this maybe work but if dint work the only solution to your problem is to send it to a repair shop you need to reset back to factory default and you can only do it with the virfone software i hope this work for you if you still have question call me @ 775-358-2922

yes there is a way to reset it to the factory default password, but try BEERTIME first (23378463). if that doesnt work give us a call and blow the password out for you. (775) 358-2922 look for randy

bad RTC can be repaired. the machine is equipped with multiple sensors inside. if one of them goes bad, or the Battery is dead tampering or bad RTC will show this can be fix by replacing the sensor and or the battery if you need this to be done call me @ (775) 358-2922 hope this help : - )

Try calling their support number. I had a non-standard terminal config password on an omni 3200. I called the processor's support line and they were able to give me the password.

At the sales screen hit F2 & F4 together password is 1 Alpha Alpha 66831.

Then hit the button under the arrow on the left of the screen one time.
choose flash files the clear all files password again same as above.

Then clear Ram files clear all files and confirm and then you are on easy street.
