Make sure you have the starter use with replacement bulb. Usually comes with replacement bulb. Open the back of th unit by removing the cover.

The Spectrum is no longer being manufactured/distributed by EcoQuest (now Vollara). We don't have extra bulbs in stock, either, but we can try to locate one from another dealer if you'd like. email us at [email protected]. We've been with the company 20+ years.

The bulb is in the RCI module for the version 2.0 & 2.1. It the part that is rectangular with a honeycomb grid on two sides. Your dealer should be able to help you get a replacement. If you need more help just leave a comment. Hope this helps you.

You need a G6T5 - Germicidal Tube Lamp - Mini Bi Pin Base bulb. Several online stores sell them.

Its probably the starter. Manual says to replace both lamp and starter at same time.
