Phone asking for passcode tried 0000 & 9999 both say failed help please

The pass code should be 0000 (four zeros), it's always been that for Plantronics headsets. Here are a couple of things to try. First, remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. Second, you want to reset the headset. The link below to the user's guide for the Plantronics Explorer 230 on page 7 will show you how to turn off / on the headset and page 4 will walk you through the pairing process. Remember to remove any previous bluetooth connections from your phone.

The factory set passcode is 0000 (zero's not O's). If you changed this then you will need to reset your bluetooth to go back to the 0000
