Question about Pioneer Deh-2400ub
I have a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, the radio works just fine as long as the car isn't on. As soon as I turn it on the radio won't even turn on. I've double checked the wiring, any other ideas?

The first thing I would do is check the yellow accesory wire for chafing or breaks. If it is touching ground somewhere it will loose voltage. Also check your cigarette lighter outlet. I have seen these cause shorts with radios since most (not all) Honda's have the stereo and lighter on the same circut. Also, a question for you, does anything else inside the car not work right or seem like it lacks power? Respond back quickly so I can help you more with this issue.

Does it turn off when you open the driver side door? If so, that's normal. My car also keeps the radio on when the key is taken out of the ignition until I open the driver side door. If the driver side door is not opened then the radio will only stay on for 8 or 10 minutes though. If it's not turning off ever, even when you open the door, then I don't know what's wrong with it.
