Question about Frigidaire FPMC3085KF Professional 30" Electric Wall Oven/Microwave Co
Broiler element resistance reads OK, so unfortunately the simplest solution is not it. Pulled controller off oven and disconnected the harnesses. Checking the wires at the harness, there is no continuity between BR/W and BL wire associated with the broiler element and the thermal circuit breaker. This suggests a bad thermal circuit breaker. I have reset the over at the breaker panel, but the thermal breaker does not reset. Where is this device located in the fpmc3085kf?

If it went dead almost
immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted
If it went dead several seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.
If it goes dead or blows the breaker (or GFI) when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.
If it's intermittent or random, it may be a bad connection, usually on the control board or a loose fuse holder, or even an intermittent fuse.

Remove power from the range and go to the back of
the control and disconnect the P3 plug. Measure
the resistance between pins 3 and 4. If the meter
reads infinity check the oven door switch and the
wiring to the door switch. If the meter reads zero go
to step 2.
2. Measure the resistance between pins 1 and 3 of
plug P3. If the meter reads infinity switch A of the
lock motor assembly or the wiring to switch A is
defective. If the meter reads zero go to step 3.
3. Measure the resistance between pin 5 in plug P4
and terminal N. If the meter reads zero or infinity
the lock motor or the wiring to the lock motor is
defective. If the meter reads 2350 Ohms replace
the electronic oven control.
